Lauren E. Taylor, LPC, LMHC

Lauren Taylor is a Clinical Counselor with over a decade of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals and couples.

I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds across inpatient settings, emergency services, nonprofit organizations, and military environments. These experiences have shaped my approach to counseling to meet clients with compassion, respect, and understanding. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered especially during times of stress or transition.

My approach to therapy is client-centered and collaborative, grounded in curiosity and compassion. I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel understood, respected, and met exactly where they are. I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also building psychological flexibility and values-driven action. I work with individuals navigating adjustment disorders, relationship challenges, and depression, supporting them in developing practical skills, deeper self-awareness, and sustainable coping strategies.

I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel understood, respected, and met exactly where they are. When you are ready, I am here to build a supportive, collaborative relationship that fosters growth.
